FFSPT

The Federation, founded in 1967, approved by the French Ministry of Youth and Sports in 1964, recognized as a public utility since 1973, has also been approved by the Ministry of Labour as part of continuing education since 1977. Its purpose is to make available to everyone a range of multisports leisure activities and physical and sports activities adapted and varied, and especially for people who are far away from regular practice for psychosocial, economic or health reasons. Through this offer, it promotes social bonding, well-being and the preservation of each individual's health capital. Federal values are to promote social integration, develop exchange and solidarity and combat all forms of discrimination. We therefore have a strong position on the educational and civic dimension of sport. The Federation brings together more than 3,000 Clubs, more than 200,000 graduates, 5,000 qualified sports instructors, more than 150 national and regional technical managers, 13 Regional Committees in mainland France, 3 French overseas departments and territories and 79 Departmental Committees to which it offers expert resources at the regulatory, administrative, training and employment levels.
